Zero Ossigeno lamps can be turned on and off with just a small wave of your hand.
They have no physical switch, using instead a proximity sensor connected to a
microprocessor that allows the lamp to turn on and off by simply placing your hand over the light
source. The name is derived from the amount of oxygen that remains during the combustion of a flame when it gets covered.
The lamps are entirely self produced in ceramic, the design of the circuit has been realized by Laboratorio Creativo Geppetto.
In june 2016 win the CNA Nazionale prize of Open Design Italia.
